North Florida Crafts Vending Opps

CellphoneBags-71-CopyNorth Florida Crafts Vending opportunities may seem few and far between as there is no real resource for us to get that information. We have joined the No White Tent forum to find new opportunities for us crafts vendors but their is mostly events listed in the southern part of the state. Since we have been in the St. Augustine, Florida area for the last several months we have been collecting information about this area and places where craft vendors can go. Some of these are listed below and include information about the application process, what they are looking for and whom to contact. We hope you will find this information useful and if you know of any more in the North Florida area please post a comment below so we can add them to our listing.

They will be holding the event every month (unless otherwise notified) on the 4th Saturday. All items being sold must be handmade. Currently they are not charging for a vendor space but they may in the future. If you would like to be a vendor then visit their Facebook page and message the admin with your name, contact info, a description of your items with a couple of pictures. Also, right now they do not require any kind of licensing or business tax receipts but it is always a good idea to have your Florida Sales Tax Certificate and your business tax receipt from St. Johns County handy.
Currently, the fee for a vendors license in St. Johns County Florida is only $30 per year but you do have to go to the county Tax Office, fill out a form and pay your fee. – Made By Handy Hands Facebook Group of St. Augustine Handcrafted Artisans

St Augustine Wednesday Farmers Market at the Pier
The Wednesday Market is a unique and enjoyable shopping experience at the Saint Johns County Pier Park – 350 A1A Beach Blvd in St Augustine Beach. The Market is sponsored by the Saint Augustine Beach Civic Association. Anywhere from 60 to 80 vendors participate each Wednesday morning year round from 8 AM until 12:30 PM. Vendors, most local and others from as far away as Orlando, Florida display an array of produce, prepared foods, local seafood, art, crafts, jewelry and fair trade goods.

While we have a short waiting list in some product categories we are always looking for great vendors with a unique product and a freindly coppoertive attitude. If you’d like to become a vendor here are a few things you must have: You must grow, make and / or create a unique, artistic or delicious product. The Wednesday Market is not a flea market. You should have all appropriate paperwork including a St Johns County Tax ID number and any other permits or licenses that are appropriate to your type of business

Old City Farmers Market

Come visit the Old City Farmers Market for fresh produce, baked goods, hand-crafted items and plants directly from the producers. There’s even fresh seafood in season. The Farmers market is always a lot of fun for the whole family with live entertainment and much more. The Old City Farmers Market takes place every Saturday morning at the St. Augustine Amphitheater on A1A South in St. Augustine. 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Admission is Free.

Come and enjoy meeting farmers, artisans, artists and other creative, productive people from our own community. Think global, support local.
Starting January 2014, the regular rate is $20 for each market day. We prefer that you pay with cash, but we also accept checks. The money will be collected the day of the market by the market manager.

Salt Air Farmer’s Market is open every Sunday, rain or shine, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. all year round (unless it lands on a holiday or we have inclement weather). All vendors must arrive early to set up, preferably by 9:00 a.m. All booths should be set up and vendors ready to sell at 10:00 a.m. The market does not close until 2:00 p.m. No vendor will be allowed to pack early.

All works must be the original design of the artist/artisan. Categories include: sculpture, clay, glass, graphics, fiber, jewelry, leather, photography, and painting. Artists/artisans will be intermingled among other vendors at the market.
