Upcoming Festivals to Consider

Good afternoon everybody! Hope you care keeping cool and busy these days creating new crafty items to sell, selling online if you are able and getting ready for the great quantities of Fall and Winter festivals that are coming soon to an area near you. Some of these may even help you support your favorite cause or hobby. We are in the process of gathering information on as many of the events happening over the next 3 months so that you will have time to fill out those applications, gather up your fees (if they are charging any) and planning out your booth spaces to, hopefully, make lots of money for yourself and get the word out on your very special craft items that you make.

Annual Pioneer Day Festival in Lafayette County Florida at Veteran’s Park in Mayo, Florida from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Saturday, October 12, 2019.

Applications for Craft Vendors are handled through the Lafayette Activities Group on Facebook. You have to join the group online and message the coordinators. Click on this MayoFlaPioneerDay2019Application Download, print and fill out the application. You can then scan it back into your computer and email it to the address on the form or better yet mail you check and the application to the committee. You are running out of time for this one.

There will be lots of people there (unless it gets canceled again due to bad weather), lots of food and music. Most of the tent sites are under large oak trees. Even though you are assigned a 10×10 space this event may allow you to bring your mobile shop instead of using a regular canvas tent.

Christmas on the Square in Live Oak, Florida. The entire weekend is filled with lots of great activities, music and craft vendors. December 7, 2019 all day from 7:00 am to around 4:00 pm. This event draws in thousands of people every year but has high vendor booth costs. You will need to get your application in as soon as possible. Even three months out might be too late for this one. You get a 12×12 space. You might even be able to bring a mobile shop instead of a tent.

Pay to Spay is sponsoring the “Fix Them All Holiday Fundraiser” to raise money to help support the low cost clinic that helps families get their pets spayed/neutered for low costs. They also support getting pets their shots too.

Vendors call either Lucille (352) 348-1615 or Connie (904) 591-7791 for more information and to reserve your spot. There are no initial vendors fees to set up but they do ask for 20% of sales to go towards their fundraising efforts. They do not specify whether the event will be held insider or out so please call them for more details.
