Summertime Is Too Dang Hot For Crafting jolenemac88, June 15, 2021September 8, 2021 I don’t know about you but SummerTime is just too dang hot for me to do any crafting. I love to create new beads and wire earrings and even like the calming routine of string beads on a wire to create necklaces and bracelets. However, if the temperature and humidity are in the “IT REALLY SUCKS” range, all I want to do is crank up the AC, grab a book to read and sip on my iced tea. That really doesn’t happen very much these days. If I am not crafting, working in my shop, creating commercials and blog posts I am writing and creating for my other businesses. If you didn’t know I am in the middle of writing a non-fiction and a historical fiction book. I am also creating designs for our “Print on Demand”, POD division on all of my websites. Hey, there is more than one way to earn some money these days and we are trying out several. Besides the old adage, “do not put all your eggs into one basket”, applies to all of us lately. Alright! I just came up with a new POD idea for our online craft store. https://swconlinestore.com/product/swc-multicolored-mug/ For all those dedicated souls out there who create all year round, “We salute You“. We hope you take pictures and videos of what you are creating to share them online. In the meantime, we are going to be taking down all of our crocheted items from the shop(s) and washing everything up again. Being in the store all year long they have a tendency to get a bit dusty. That will mean we will have to put new labels on each of them and take new pictures to upload to each of the online stores. Do us a favor, will you? Buy and Share all of our crocheted items this month so we don’t have to do all that again!!! When we do repost these items we will be changing the prices for each. I’m afraid we will be increasing the prices by about 10 to 15% higher on each item. Postal prices are so unpredictable these days. We are going with FREE Shipping on each of our items beginning in the Fall. Yes, that price is just going to be folded into the item price but for some reason, people will buy more at a higher price if you take away the shipping costs. Who Knew?!?!?! Okay have a great summer, keep crafting when you can, market your items on your own websites too. Please keep checking our Latest Promo page for updates on what we are working on now: Mention you saw this ad on Southern Women Crafts and we will take 10% off the price for any fellow craft artist. Just Direct Message Me on the Facebook Page that you purchase the package, saw my ad on SWC Blog, and would like 10% CASH-BACK after the project is complete. That’s right you will get $50 cashback on your order after we have created your website and taught you how to use it effectively. https://joleneswebdesigns.com/product/premium-website-design-and-1-year-maintenance-for-authors/ Share this: Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr More Share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Share on Mastodon (Opens in new window) Mastodon Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Nextdoor Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on Threads (Opens in new window) Threads Share on X (Opens in new window) X Like this:Like Loading… Related Fun For Crafters Handmade Crafters Shop Ideas Shop on Wheels The Business of Crafting Get Your Own Crafting ShopGetting Inspired For Craft ProjectsOnline Shops for CraftersShop on Wheels for CraftersStaying Cool While CraftingSummertime Is Too Dang Hot For Crafting

Your Own Online Shop Lesson 1 September 7, 2017October 2, 2017 Prior to starting your very own online store, you will have to do a couple of things. First of all, you may want to organize all the pictures of your items you want to list in folders by groups/types of products. For instance, I have my sorted into folders called earrings, gloves, necklaces, scrunchies, etc. That way when I begin inputting my items into the store software I can put in all of my earrings at the same time and not have to be looking all over my computer for the pictures I want to include with the listings.
