Summertime Is Too Dang Hot For Crafting

I don’t know about you but SummerTime is just too dang hot for me to do any crafting. I love to create new beads and wire earrings and even like the calming routine of string beads on a wire to create necklaces and bracelets. However, if the temperature and humidity are in the “IT REALLY SUCKS” range, all I want to do is crank up the AC, grab a book to read and sip on my iced tea. That really doesn’t happen very much these days. If I am not crafting, working in my shop, creating commercials and blog posts I am writing and creating for my other businesses. If you didn’t know I am in the middle of writing a non-fiction and a historical fiction book. I am also creating designs for our “Print on Demand”, POD division on all of my websites. Hey, there is more than one way to earn some money these days and we are trying out several. Besides the old adage, “do not put all your eggs into one basket”, applies to all of us lately.

Alright! I just came up with a new POD idea for our online craft store.

For all those dedicated souls out there who create all year round, “We salute You“. We hope you take pictures and videos of what you are creating to share them online. In the meantime, we are going to be taking down all of our crocheted items from the shop(s) and washing everything up again. Being in the store all year long they have a tendency to get a bit dusty. That will mean we will have to put new labels on each of them and take new pictures to upload to each of the online stores. Do us a favor, will you? Buy and Share all of our crocheted items this month so we don’t have to do all that again!!!

When we do repost these items we will be changing the prices for each. I’m afraid we will be increasing the prices by about 10 to 15% higher on each item. Postal prices are so unpredictable these days. We are going with FREE Shipping on each of our items beginning in the Fall. Yes, that price is just going to be folded into the item price but for some reason, people will buy more at a higher price if you take away the shipping costs. Who Knew?!?!?!
